Introduction to the course:
Our Legionella risk assessment and water systems disinfection for mechanical services training and assessment course is designed to meet the requirements of the revised Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) and Guidance: Legionnaire’s disease: The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems, and the technical guidance HSG274 Part 2: The control of Legionella in hot and cold water systems (HSG274)
Trainees must hold a recognised trade qualification in plumbing and heating. A working knowledge of central heating, hot and cold water systems is essential. As well as holding Water Regulations or Water Byelaws.
The course is for experienced plumbing and heating operatives
How the course is assessed:
Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.
